Flights of Fancy, put on by MCC Longview and the Kite Club of Kansas City was a great afternoon - a lot of people taking great pictures of the day are out. Here are some of the kites I enjoyed from the day. Nice Job Wednesday Weekly for putting it all together and getting the word out. - darn, just found out I can't link out to people in this blog format...just google those people I guess.

Quality Time for me doesn't always have to be intentional, but when I need lighting subjects for testing - these two are usually happy to fill my request. There are more images from this session I will post in following entries.

Athletic photography has its rewards for me: I really enjoy the atmosphere I am able to create within it. This is Bayo, an elite (I really mean that) high jumper - who is training for the African Championships this year. I have been working on a project involving photographic movement. I am not sure how I am describing it, nor does this image show any resemblance of it. But I shot this picture while working on that, so there you go. I worked a semester or more on an architecture project in college on this corridor - so I enjoy being around it.
